Delete Your Account
You can permanently delete your Waiting Room account at any time. This page explains how and what happens to your data.
Delete From the App
The fastest way to delete your account is from inside the Waiting Room mobile app:
- Open the Waiting Room app on your phone.
- Tap the Profile tab in the bottom navigation.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
- Confirm the deletion when prompted. Your account and associated data will be removed.
Don't Have App Access?
If you cannot access the app (for example, you have uninstalled it or lost your device), email us from the address associated with your account and we will process the deletion manually:
Please send your request from the email address linked to your account. We will respond within 30 days, typically much sooner.
What Gets Deleted
- Your account profile (name, email, profile photo).
- Your saved preferences and settings.
- Push notification tokens and notification history.
- Uploaded content (such as profile pictures).
What May Be Retained
For legal, tax, and accounting reasons we may retain a limited set of records after your account is deleted:
- Purchase and refund records (ticket and membership transactions) for up to seven (7) years.
- Information necessary to comply with subpoenas, court orders, or fraud investigations.
- Aggregated, anonymized analytics that cannot be tied back to your identity.
